Supercell - My Dearest

Well.. It's my first post... I even wondered will someone actually read this blog... Well.. whatever... Anyway , I was listening to My Dearest by Supercell recently and I realized something, about the meaning of the song. Perhaps its not what Ryo meant when he wrote the lyrics , but anyway I'll try to "translate" the meaning of this song through the Christian Perspective ...

God You know  in this world There are all kinds of happiness So someday, together

Even if someone were to call you a liar And try to hurt you with heartless words Or if the whole world doesn't even try to believe in you And try to put a crown of thorns on your head I can still become a friend only to you I know of that loneliness  and that pain Man so, everything that makes me whole I will dedicate them all to you now I'm Yours God

If you could know of me someday Then I will definitely be there Man Even if there isn't a single fragment of hope there Or if I had to be something that's not supposed to be The fact that you won't forget about me I know it better than anyone So, for you, I will dedicate Everything I have  now English translation by Hinamawari And that's how I interpreted this song as a dialogue. According to my interpretation based on my perspective as a Christian , this song taught us to dedicate everything to God. The first part of the song  : Perhaps in life we often feel that we're all alone goint through a path full of mistakes that keeps making us down. But we often forget that God is always there with us. Those trials were made so that we might realize that God is always there with us. When we realized that God is holding our hand , we'll be able to smile , and He will take us further thanwe think we can. The second part of the song : There might be times when we want to protect something precious to us, whether is it our family,our jobs, or even our friends , and perhaps another precious things, yet we can't do a single thing ,and we started to feel powerless, it feels like darkness had us enveloped in it. In those conditions ,know that God will be there to light our path, and if we can't do anything, God will do something, and what could posibbly be impossible for God? There is none, even "The king of this word" won't be able to hinder His plans. The third part of the song : We know that there are many kinds of happiness in this world, but sometimes some of those happiness just seem unreachable, but we must know , that even if we can't achieve those "worldly happiness" , true happiness could only be found when we're together with God. The fourth part of the song : Even if the whole world is trying to be our enemies ,God will always be our friend. Even if the people around us keep on hurting us, God won't ever hurt us. Remember that God understand our pain. Jesus endured a lot of pain from those he had came to save, they even tried to kill Him and finally crucified Him on the cross , with "Crown of Thorns" on his head. Like the one in the song : Or if the whole world doesn't even try to believe in you And try to put a crown of thorns on your head I can still become a friend only to you I know of that loneliness  and that pain The last part of the song : Even if there seems no hope, let us know the fact that God would never forget about us. And so, leave everything to him. So, for you, I will dedicate Everything I have  now. ________________________________________________________________________ And so that ends my post for now, it's been more that an hour from when I started. I'm tired, I guess I should rest now. Well, I know it's imperfect and all , and I'm sorry if I might offense someone , I don't mean it  ( Although sometimes I do mean it ).
